Comerica Park

As the home of the Detroit Tigers, Comerica Park is set in downtown Detroit, right next to Ford Field. Opened in 2000, Comerica Park seats more than 41,000 fans on game day. Travel in from detroit suburbs like Livonia, Roseville, or Romulus during the summer and watch one of the most iconic baseball franchise slug their way back to the playoffs. During the season, Friday and Saturday home games end with a fireworks display in the park, win or lose. 

Cranbrook Institute of Science

Detroit area residents and visitors ready for a fun day of learning about science, have a wonderful option in Bloomfield Hills. The Cranbrook Institute of Science, established in 1904 by George and Ellen Booth, is a wonderful science and history museum. Education has always been a focus of this incredible center. The museum began as the Brookside School for Children in 1922 and later became the Cranbrook School for Boys, in 1927. To celebrate the museum's 50th anniversary, a life-sizes statue of a Stegosaurus was installed.

Schedule plenty of time to stroll through the center's eleven permanent galleries. The Our Dynamic Earth features the Ice Ages Come and Go and Mastoodons Did Not Survive, while the Wasserman Hall features the Flint Anthropology Gallery and the Woodlands Den. The observatory, nature center, planetarium and the Erb Family Science Garden are popular areas of the museum. Detroit Historical Museum

Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library

The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library is located on the University of Michigan - North Campus, in Ann Arbor. Former President Gerald Ford graduated from the North Campus of the University of Michigan in 1935. The Library is included in the National Archives and Records Administration. Open to the public since 1981, Library visitors view an extensive collection of photographs, presidential papers and audiovisual footage.

The Gerald Ford Museum is located in Grand Rapids, his hometown, and includes displays of the former President and Mrs. Ford's lives. Joe Louis Arena

Home to the legendary NHL franchise Detroit Red Wings, Joe Louis Arena is one of the most iconic structures in Detroit.
