Detroit Metro Area Events
2015 African World Festival
A celebration of African-American culture and history unlike any other. This festival will feature plenty of crafts, food, music, and more, all at the Charles H. Wright Museum in Detroit. The festival begins at 11 a.m. daily.
14th Annual Tour de Troit Ride
A bicycle tour traversing downtown Detroit and taking in some of the most historic sites and best points of interest. The tour begins at Roosevelt Park in downtown Detroit. Start time is TBA.
2015 DIY Street Fair
Three days of food, art, fun, music, and more family-friendly activities throughout downtown Ferndale. The event start times vary by day – 6 p.m. Friday, and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
2015 Detroit Jazz Festival
A massive gathering of local, regional, and international jazz musicians, spread across a multitude of venues like Hart Plaza and Campus Martius. Other activities include jazz workshops, talks, children's activities, and fireworks.
2015 Dally in the Alley
"One of the only non-corporate sponsored community festivals in the U.S.," this event is set to feature an artists gallery, four stages of live music, and other street fair activities. The event is held in downtown Detroit.
7th Annual Detroit Fall Beer Festival
Sample hundreds of locally and regionally crafted brews from roughly 75 breweries while enjoying the smooth sounds of some of Detroit's most talented local musicians. The event is held at Detroit's Easter Market.

Emmet-Charlevoix County Fairgrounds
The 109th annual instance of this county fair near Harbor Springs includes grandstand events like country music performances, monster truck events, horse pulls, petting zoos, and more.
2015 Hopps of Beer & Wine Festival
Over 50 award-winning micro brews and 40 carefully selected regional wines will be available for two days during this annual city, hosted at Macinaw Crossings in Mackinaw City. The event begins at 5 p.m.
2015 Taste of Harbor Springs
An annual fall festival held in Harbor Springs, this event will feature the best culinary creations and beverage retailers Harbor Springs has to offer. The event begins at 12 p.m. at the Harbor Springs waterfront.
