54th Annual Morel Festival
Head for Veterans Park in Boyne City for the annual Morel Festival. Now in it's 54th year, this annual celebration of mushrooms kicks off May 12th. Across three days, check out the Craft Beer Block Party, Schmidt Amusement Carnival, and much more.
May Day Festival
Held at Sacred Sparks in East Jordan, the annual May Day Festival is a must-see on your next visit to northern Michigan. Check out the fun on May 9th, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be story-telling events for the kids, and the highlight is the May Pole Dance.

28th Annual Great Lakes Kite Festival
Fans of beautiful weather, beaches, and kites won't want to miss this event, hosted annually at Grand Haven State Park in Grand Haven. Teams of both pros and amateurs offer dazzling kite-flying displays continuously for two days – the fun gets underway at 10 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
2016 MSU Gran Fondo
Grand Rapids travelers looking for get out and enjoy the city won't want to miss this non-competitive cycling event, featuring multiple courses starting downtown, and culminating in with a Finish Line Festival with craft beer and food. Register today!
2016 Longest Day 5K
Register for the Longest Day 5K, held Grand Rapids, set to feature plenty of food, fun, craft beers, racer swag, and plenty of kids' activities. Oh, and the 5K isn't half bad. It all starts at the Blandford Nature Center.
2016 Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival
Grand Haven celebrates its heritage as "Coast Guard City, USA" with over a week of parades, fireworks, entertainment, kids' activities, and so much more. The festival is known to draw over 300,000 attendees, so be sure and save your place.
4th Annual Blue Water Sand Fest
Port Huron invites visitors and residents to participate (or just check out the action) in one of the top 10 sand sculpturing competitions in the country. Register today and head over to the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse for three days of fun on the beach.
2016 Grand Haven Salmon Festival
