Lake Michigan Beach

The quiet Lake Michigan Beach, also known as Hagar Shores or the "Magnificent Mile", is located along Lake Michigan. One of the five Great Lakes, Lake Michigan's beaches are said to "sing" when you walk across it. This is due to the squeaking noise the sand makes, from the high content of quartz in the sand.
